This Fall, Camp Localhost launches NewBees Afterschool: VALORANT, a weekend program for gamers ages 9-12. These weekly programs take place over a 10 week period from October to December, with camps offered in both Eastern (ET) and Pacific (PT) time zones. Campers may sign up for one or multiple days of camp, and programming will be held on Discord and is for gamers of all skill ranges. As an added bonus at the end of each camp, two campers will be mailed trophies for MVP and Most Improved! Our coaches are professional, background checked, have years of coaching experience, and love helping others find success in their game of choice. Camp Days Offered

  • Saturday Camp (Runs October 17th to December 19th)
  • Sunday Camp (Runs October 18th to December 20th)

Runtime and Schedule

  • Weekend camps run two hours long from 11:00-1:00pm
  • There will be camps for both Eastern and Pacific time zones.

Sample Daily Schedule:
11:00am Campers arrive and warm up with custom matches and free play
11:15am Campers are put into teams for inter-squad scrimmages. Coaches will also do replay analysis when possible
11:55am Campers put into new teams for free play and scrimmages. Coaches will continue to do replay analysis
12:30pm Coaches arrange campers into teams for a mini tournament where scores are recorded
1:00pm Coaches dismiss campers. End of day


  • Must have VALORANT downloaded on PC with a stable internet connection.
  • Access to Discord. Discord is a free software that allows gamers to communicate with each other online while playing games.
  • A mic and headset are recommended but not required depending on what platform Discord is used.
  • A webcam is recommended but not required.


  • Players will learn from a professional coach at the top of their respective game.
  • Each class will be capped at 10 campers.
  • There will be two trophies awarded at the end of camp for MVP and Most Improved. Trophies will be mailed to campers after the conclusion of camp
  • There will be 9 total camp days and 18 hours of programming. Campers are welcome to register for more than one camp day.
  • Campers of all abilities and levels may join.
  • Campers will be matched according to skill.
  • There will be no programming the week of Thanksgiving.
  • All camps are done online and only for United States residents.
  • A valid email address and Discord ID must be provided when signing up.
  • All lessons are recorded for internal and quality assurance purposes.
  • VALORANT is rated T for Teen by the ESRB.


The cost to participate is $120 for the 10 weeks, which comes to an average of just over $6/hour.

Meet Your Coach!

Liam Pepin

Liam is a Colorado native currently living in the Littleton area. Liam enjoys activities like backpacking and snowboarding along with his passion for video games and esports. Recently, Liam have been playing a lot of VALORANT, Modern Warfare, CS:GO, and Rainbow Six: Siege for their multiplayer along with some Mount & Blade:Bannerlord and Fallout 4 to get some single player cooldown. In addition, Liam has played Rainbow Six: Siege competitively for his college for the past 2 years.

Can I sign up my child after the camp has started?
Yes! You can still sign up your child for the remaining weeks once camp has started. Prices will be adjusted and prorated each week.

Can my child participate in multiple camps?
Yes! As long as the camps do not overlap and fit your schedule you are welcome to register for additional sessions.

What is Discord and how is it used?
